Miho was born in Osaka, Japan. She attended Yamaha music school in Osaka where she started studying music at the age of 4. During her earlier music experience, she studied with Hajime Nagai and Takato Kato. At age 9, she became a student of Virtuoso Jorg Demus. She won the All Japan piano competition at age 9. Since then she won numerous competitions in Japan including the All Japan soloist contest.
Ms. Everitt holds a bachelor's degree in piano performance from Soai University. (Osaka,Japan) During the time she was attending Soai Univ. , She studied with Eiko Yamamoto. Also she took lessons from Reiko Imrie. She performed during Kazimierz Gierzod's and Midori Kataoka's master classes. She also accompanied various instruments (such as tuba, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, flute, violin, viola, cello) voices, (including Takarazuka revue performers and OSK revue performers) operas, orchestra and bands. She also was an accompanist for the "Beethoven's 9th with a cast of 10,000". She also taught lessons at Yamaha music school in Osaka .
She enrolled in Master's program in piano performance at University of UT and studied with Susan Duehlmeire. While studying with Susan, Miho enjoyed playing for the Ballet at the Univ. of UT ballet department.
She has a music teaching certificate for elementary school, middle school and high school in Japan.
She also accompanied a children's choir that toured various cities in the U.S. in 1992. During that visit to the U.S., She made many good friends and decided to come back to the U.S. in 1994.
In recent years, she has performed at the "tabernacle at noon "series in Logan,UT with flutist Jo hays, pianist friends and her students. She enjoys teaching very much. Her students have come from India, Sri Lanka, Korea, China, Japan and the U.S.
